A little research will show you that your hard drives in this device are formatted using a proprietary file system (ZFS) – you may be shocked to discover that these cannot be read by Windows PCs. You also cannot read sc101 drives with Linux or on a Mac. The hard drives might be physically fine, but the SC101 has lost track of what it contains and cannot recover.

• recover all possible data*
• copy your recovered data onto DVDs if less than 16GB

If your recovered data is larger than 16GB, it needs to go on an external hard drive. You can include an external drive when we collect your SC101 drives, or we can sell you a 2TB USB external drive for £150+VAT for your rescued data.

If we are unable to recover your data, there is NO RECOVERY FEE. We will return your SC101 hard drives (small return courier fee of £15+VAT).
